Okay so I didn’t go to bed.  I am aware that I am fighting myself and this process.  I am really struggling with vulnerability and what that means.  I can’t get past the belief that vulnerability and weakness are one in the name.  It really doesn’t matter what I was taught or why I have that belief system.  What matters is that I accept it, change it and live the rest of my life differently.

Spirit Dad:  Sounds like that makes you angry.  You got it intellectually again, but Mary look at the heart and see with the heart.  The same as you would with anyone else, do for yourself.

When Prostate Cancer Returns – The Mayo Clinic Process Continues…

Not only is it disconcerting to find out that you have recurring prostate cancer, but then to have to deal with restrictive insurance companies and find out that it will only get worse, just adds icing to the cake of worry and stress.  The bright spot – dealing with the Mayo Clinic.

So here’s the deal.  You find you have a rising PSA when, without a prostate, your PSA should be zero.  Problem!

You then find that there is a wonderful test that potentially could identify where the growing prostate cancer is located so that appropriate treatment could take place.  Get the test!  Right?  Not so fast…

Water makes up a good part of our bodies, we crave it after exercise. We use it to clean our dishes, our bodies, our floors, our clothes. It’s scarce in many places. In some places I bet it could be used as a currency of it isn’t already. Some people don’t have enough and die because of lack of water and yet, here in our modern first world. Water the very precious resource that is important for so many things, can also be a source of ridicule. It can indicate that you’re clumsy, messy, uncool and just not all put together.
